Summary: The purpose of this study was to determine the factors of job satisfaction among the budget hotels employees in Chengdu City in China, and to discover the difference between local budget hotels and international budget hotels in Chengdu City in China. Results of this study showed that a significant difference in job satisfaction level that existed in local and international budget hotels in Chengdu City. The responses those working in international budget hotels a general job satisfaction level were higher than local budget hotels. The evidences showed that the compensation, work environment and communication these three facets that strong influence international budget hotels respondent's attitudes for what they are doing. In local budget hotels, the work environment was seemed as the significant relative variable that affected employees' satisfaction level.
