First Aussie V.C. of World War 13--Container.
Co-producer/directors, Ross Cooper and Nigel Buesst.
Documentary about the First World War hero and later St. Kilda Mayor. Today Albert Jacka is almost forgotten, yet his heroic feats captured the imagination of a generation. In the early decades of the centrury he personified the archetypal Australian. Jacka was a solider, decorated for his service at Gallipoli, and this documentary about his life tells not only his story but much about Australian identity and history.
