Summary: "This collection of five complete practice tests has been written to comply with the 1996 syllabus for the Cambridge Preliminary English Test bu authors with wide experience of test-writing and of the PET. The first test in this book is presented in an 'expanded' form, with step-by-step notes to help students through each section of the PET, while the other four tests are model examinations providing excellent practice. The material on the accompanying cassettes is presented in the same timed format that the students will meet in the exam itself, while the Teacher's Book contains transcripts of the recorded material and answer keys.
