Of all his works, Frank Lloyd Wright's private houses are possibly the most remembered. They stretch from coast-to-coast across 35 states of America, and include the legendary Fallingwater (pictured here) for Edgar Kaufmann, which then as now is a model of modern technology; the Fredericks Robie House, the masterpiece of Wright's Prairie period: the Dramatic Hollyhock House for Aline Barnsdall; and his own Taliesin West, which he disigned not only as family homes, but as the headquarters of the Taliesin Fellowship, which he conceived as a means of educating young architects.
