Program support notes included on DVD.

"The food and clothing industries are under immense pressure from the government and consumers to use less packaging. This program shows how packaging is being redesigned to reduce the amount of materials used and to increase the amount of recycled and recyclable content. It first explores the role of packaging, before looking at what leading retailers are doing to reduce packaging across their food and clothing ranges. We then look at how plastic bottles are recycled into new food grade plastic, before being formed into containers and filled with salads. We also assess the future potential of packaging made from sustainable raw materials".
